The Gandel Genomics Centre was established in 2005 to acknowledge funding support from the Gandel Charitable Trust to establish capillary DNA Sanger Sequencing. DNA Sequencing enables researchers a greater insight into gene structure and function, providing critical information for improving the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
